December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 8 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 3/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1/2 cent, and MIAX December Minneapolis wheat is down 0.0100 cents.
Cattle futures were hit hard Friday as a result of President Trump indicating the government had a plan to reduce beef prices. That statement triggered liquidation despite significantly higher cash trade. Hog futures close mixed with continued uncertainty whether demand will absorb higher slaughter numbers at higher weights.
